Two kinds of experience. One platform.
Most freight platforms get one side right. Logistics people know the problems but can't build the system; software teams can build systems but have never stood at a weighbridge at 5 a.m. ManLogX is built by both: two founders who each started and run their own company, with about 10 years of experience in their field.
Sudhir: truck owner and logistics broker
Sudhir is the founder of his own trucking and logistics brokerage company, with about 10 years of experience owning trucks and brokering loads in South African road freight. He has lived every problem ManLogX solves: operators who weren't who they said they were, loads subcontracted to trucks nobody had checked, PODs that went missing, and payments that took 30, 60 or more days to arrive, if they arrived at all.
Every rule in ManLogX, from the compliance gate to funded trips, comes from something that went wrong on a real load.
Christian: software developer
Christian is the founder of his own software development company, with about 10 years of hands-on experience building software. He turned those real-world problems into a working system: the web platform, the offline-first driver app, the verification and document vault, live tracking, and the wallet and settlement engine behind every trip.
Everything is built in-house, so the platform does exactly what freight needs rather than what an off-the-shelf tool allows.
The problems we experienced first-hand
Road freight runs on trust that is hard to verify. Brokers subcontract to unknown operators, insurance lapses go unnoticed, payment terms stretch to 60 days, and a hijacked load turns into a paperwork war.
Why existing systems didn't solve it
Load boards connect shippers and transporters and then step aside. They don't check who actually turns up, don't hold the money, and don't keep the evidence. Fleet software tracks your own trucks but not the transaction between two companies. Spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups do neither. Nothing controlled the whole transaction from start to finish, so we built a system that does.
What ManLogX does
ManLogX replaces trust with evidence: verified companies, trucks and drivers; trip declarations that must match those verified records; weighbridge slips, GPS and signed PODs; and payment that is secured before the truck rolls and settles when delivery is confirmed. It is not "an app". It is a digital freight marketplace and the transaction infrastructure underneath it.
Three things, done properly
Verification
Every shipper and transporter is document-checked by our team before their first transaction. Trucks and drivers carry their own document sets, and an expired document blocks them automatically.
Execution
Unit loads and bulk contracts, the anti-subcontracting gate, live tracking from the driver app, weighbridge-verified tonnage, and one-tap incident reporting with an insurance workflow.
Settlement
Trips are funded when a transporter accepts and released when the shipper confirms delivery. Transporters cash out to a verified bank account. No 60-day terms, no chasing.
Where we are
ManLogX (Pty) Ltd (registration no. K2026525307) is based in Gauteng and built for all nine provinces, with corridor coverage growing as transporters join. The platform is built and we are onboarding our first verified transporters and shippers ahead of launch. We'll publish real network figures here once freight is moving.
